My name is Joshua Troyer and I am currently finishing my final class at Tiffin University. My major is an MBA in Sport Management and Finance. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and love studying all the various aspects of sports. I completed my undergraduate work from Grace College in three years with a degree in Sport Management and Business Administration and a minor in Accounting in 2009. I recently decided to go back to school again to complete a Transition to Teaching degree and gain my license to teach the K-6 General Elementary level. I love working with the youth in the classroom as well as in sports and believe this will continue to help align my path with what God has planned for me. I look forward to student teaching in the Spring of 2015 and pursuing a full-time career by the summer of 2015!
I want to work in athletics because I have a passion for sports and wanting to be involved in influencing the youth of the future. I am someone that loves fast-paced environments and problem solving tough situations in these environments. I believe Tiffin is the best environment for me to prepare for this type of sports career. I have coached basketball at Northfield High School as a 8th Grade Head Coach and Varsity Assistant for the last three years on the boys side. I also am completing my third year as a softball assistant coach at Southwood High School and entering my second year as the Girls' Golf Coach at Manchester High School. Sports are a major part of my daily life and I love being able to do what God has blessed me with a passion for and serve the youth of tomorrow at the same time.
